So I was watching Oprah the other day (yes, I watch it. Shut up.), and Cheryl Tiegs, Christy Brinkly and some other model from the 80s were talking about posing recently for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Anniversary issue.

They chit-chatted about whatever and then Oprah asked, "How do you all stay in shape?" Christy said she exercises and watches what she eats. The other model (can't remember her name!) was honest and said, "Well, I try to eat right, but I really had to work hard to prepare for this shoot. I was definitely not in bikini shape."

Cheryl said, "Whenever I gain a pound or two, I go and put on the tightest pants I own. That way, all day I'm reminded of those extra pounds, and I don't overeat."

Jesus, Cheryl. Why don't you just run out and get yourself a hair shirt? I mean, give me a break! I thought that was the most ridiculous answer I've ever heard. If you're a few pounds overweight, there's no need to torture yourself.

Oprah, never one to let me down, asked incredulously, "You do that when you gain one or two pounds?"

Oprah's great, man.
