And his salad dressing is tasty, too.

It's 730 and I should definitely not be working right now, but I am. I have tomorrow off and I have a crapload of work to do before I meet my deadline. It's all my fault, too. Since I work from home, I sometimes choose to work a "creative" schedule, meaning that during the holiday season, I do things like use daytime hours to shop for gifts when the rest of the world is at work so I can beat the crowds. A good idea in theory, but it leaves me working late to make up the time. Bah!

I need to talk a minute about Paul Newman. Ever seen Cat on a Hot Tin Roof? I hadn't until last night. I just have to say, Paul Newman is sexy as hell in this movie. He's brooding and angry and totally distant and unattainable, just the way I like my men. (Actually, not in real life anymore. That was my 20s).

This movie is GOOD. The dialogue is good and so is the story, although they cut out the homosexual angle, which was in the original Tennessee Williams play. (It sort of makes a big part of the story a unbelievable, but overall it still works, trust me.)

Fuuuuuuck. There's this one scene where Paul has his shirt off, and I nearly fainted from his gorgeousness. I really think COAHTR captures the peak of his attractiveness. He's also peaking in The Long Hot Summer, which was filmed right before. (I highly recommend it, by the way. It stars Joann Woodward, and the chemistry between her and Paul is fierce.)

I swear, Paul Newman may be the most attractive movie star of all time. Brad Pitt? Psh! Tom Cruise? Ha ha! I spit on him. George Clooney? Well, hold on. George has been growing on me lately, what with Good Night and Good Luck being so awesome and all. But that is a conversation for another day.
