Saturday, pigs flew, hell froze over and I came into work. I'd promised myself that I'd never, ever come to work on a weekend, but it was not to be avoided. There was just too much to do.

The good news is, the company bought lunch for everyone who was here. That's one perk of working here - tons of free food. The company buys dinner for anyone who stays to work late every night, and buys lunch for everyone several times at the end of the month. Doesn't that sound decadent? I love it, except for the fact that I'm well on my way to weighing 300 lbs. Tonight I'll be enjoying a cobb salad and potato leek soup. Yum. Heaven is hot soup on a cold night, isn't it?

Speaking of which, I'm really loving how cold the nights are lately. I love changing into my pajamas and fuzzy robe and making myself a cup of peppermint tea. Peppermint tea! Heaven is pajamas, a fuzzy robe and cup of peppermint tea on a cold night.

D was sick, so he stayed at his place to avoid infecting me. This was our first weekend apart in two years. I didn't mind it, actually. I had a lot of stuff to do, and I don't mind being alone sometimes. It's prime girly time. Time to give yourself a manicure, buy scented candles, shop for shoes, watch chick flicks and decorating shows. It was lovely! I was going to go see a movie, but going to the movies by yourself isn't fun at night, it's only fun for matinees.

Sunday I went to my mom's and made more marble magnets. What am I going to do with all of these magnets? They're just so fun to make, though!

This entry has a lot of exclamation marks in it! I'm not a big fan of exclamation marks, typically! I think they're unnecessary if you've phrased your thoughts well! Except for in dialogue, then sometimes you need them!

OK, I have to go back to work!
