This is odd.
Remember that old guy who was executed in California in January? I just read an article that said his heart stopped naturally in September, but officials revived him. Check it out: officials said that even if he went into cardiac arrest on the way to the death chamber, they'd revive him again so he could be put to death by the state. Isn't that strange? I mean, I guess if someone's dying and they have the medical means to save his life, they're forced to do so, but it just seems bizarre. I picture him on a gurney surrounded by a frantic medical team applying the electric paddles and screaming, "Live, damn it! Live!" and then putting him to death a few minutes later. Strraaange.
Just a thought.
